Minister

Bill Rasco has been serving as the pulpit minister at the Spring Creek Church of Christ since March, 2009. He brings with him a deep background in Christian service and ministry. Bill is a graduate of Southern Christian University, with a degree in Biblical Studies. He served as a pulpit minister, youth minister, and education minister before joining the Spring Creek family.

Bill has a passion for pointing people to Jesus. He serves on the Board of Directors for the North Texas Leadership Training for Christ, an organization devoted to training young people to serve as leaders in the church. Bill is also integrally involved in Sooner Youth camp, and serves as the director of Camp Kichaca, a beginner’s camp for 2-5th graders.

Using his talent for teaching and his commitment to helping people look like Jesus, Bill authors Bible study resources for adults and teens. The Tell Me the Story Bible study series draws readers deep into the truths of God’s Word. Tell Me the Story: Heroes of Faith focuses on the Bible characters who teach us the deep lessons of faith. Exploring the Gospel of Luke is the foundation for Tell Me the Story: Meeting Jesus. The armor of God provides the framework for discovering how to put on Christ as we walk through life in Tell Me the Story: The Armor of God. Bill has also written two downloadable studies on Acts entitled ACTS: A Church that Shines and ACTS: A Church that Spreads.

Bill, his wife Robin and son Walker, feel blessed to be a part of the Spring Creek Church of Christ. With every sermon, Bible class, prayer, phone call, visit, and hug, Bill longs to bring Paul’s Christ-centered resolve to life at Spring Creek – “I have resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.” – I Corinthians 2:2.
